Coordinated Jacking System
Performing maintenance for some of the world's largest mining machines can be a daunting task since the machines can weigh millions of pounds. This lifting equipment is highly specialized and requires precise and carefully coordinated movements. Previous designs used open center, basic hydraulic controls and manually coordinated the lifting effort with several spotters taking frequent measurements which created safety risks and potential equipment damage.
The total machine control system from GSNA provides an automated, coordinated lifting system, with extremely accurate position feedback and safety interlocks, giving the service technician the best environment for a successful lift. Combining the intelligence of the master controller with closed-loop linear position sensors and high pressure proportional hydraulics provides an even and safe lift of any size load. Multiple screen options provide the machine performance data feedback, and can include touch screen technology. These systems are designed to operate in some of the world's worst operating environments.
